Intro

I play guitar - because the Beatles did so synthesizer - because of the sound. Midi makes me sound real skilled at percussion and a variety of other things like flute, harmonica, etc - often needed, and it's FUN! I played violin for 10 years / classical.

I like creating. I tried painting and video, but the easiest for me seems to be music.

Music

My favourite recent composers are Michel Legrand - great melodies and skill. Gerald Donald - perfectly applied concepts with amazing simplicity and efficiency. Older composers who inspire me are Bach - depth, Beethoven - clarity of melody.

My favourite technique is impro and looping. What I like most? Melodies first!

I have several recording aliases for electronic music and leftfield rock/pop.
